Default SUS pedal assign?

0 votes
Does SUS pedal default to sustain for patches unless reassigned?

I found several patches in the release library with no SUS pedal sustain:

No sus pedal sustain:
Astral Pinwheel
Edge Case
Fractalised
PolyAmethyst

It's great to have everything reassignable as needed. But SUS pedal needs to default to sustain.

That sounds like a bug in our presets.    Thanks for pointing those out, we'll see to getting them updated for the next release.

Cool.

Some had no mod wheel assigns either.

Thanks, Ben!  Yeah, this is my bad.  I've put this on my list of preset bugs to address for the next software update.

And yes, the Sustain pedal is assignable.  The engine is capable of assigning it to pretty much anything, and even multiple destinations.  Fun stuff!  As long as I can remember to assign it in the first place...  :P

Cheers,

Assignable is great. But having SUS pedal default to S of ADSR and LFO depth/intensity default for Mod Wheel seems like good standard practice.

Thanks for the fast feedback!
Indeed, both of those are absolutely standard practice.  The sustain pedal problem may have stemmed from using extremely early patches that were created prior to default assignment.  And we're seeing some inactive mod wheels possibly due to a bug.  Still tracking that one down at this time...  Will get to the bottom of it.
