Excellent questions! ;) -- Taiho and I are still trying to figure out a logical way to present an editor, and then there will be the actual work of creating that editor, so given that we aren't quite sure how things will be presented, but we are determined to provide access to the deep levels of the engine, however that ends up looking.
As for accessing to the OSCs, LFOs, ENVs, Modulation, etc. Yes. We plan to make all of that available. We have a fairly capable synth engine under the hood with flexible numbers (and LOTS) of LFOs, ENVs, Modulation Routes, and other types of modulation possibilities. We currently access these ourselves for patch programming via a very ugly, non-intuitive, engineering tool. As for the oscillators, we currently have several hundred parameters per oscillator, as there are just so many points of control in a Waverazor oscillator. We plan to make all of this available, and hopefully in a way that allows you to have fun with that control without requiring a bottle of aspirin diving in ;)
Regarding schedule, I can only speculate at this time. We are hoping for 3~5 months from now, hopefully closer to 3 months, however we are also working on updates to the existing app as we needed, supporting AAX, Linux, and MPE in the nearer term, so all of these tasks are also important to us and will happen before the full editor.
Regarding MPE specifically, yes we are planning to support that as we feel it could be a very cool way to apply more expressive control to our unique oscillator. This is also slated to happen before the full editor.
Hope that gives you some insight into our plans.
All that being said, the real beauty of the sounds in Waverazor in its current state come alive from combinations of the macro parameters and automation of those from the DAW. There are a lot of places where combinations of parameter settings result in completely new variations of the preset as loaded, and especially finding those sweet spots where harmonic/inharmonic components collide in musical ways. For that reason, I think there is still a lot that can be done musically with this version. Fortunately you have 30 days to play around before you need to decide whether to take the leap or not.
All the best. - Rob
