Hello, I was wondering if there was a reason for the GUI Change from the glowing colors to the more stationary?

Will we get to see this feature in a future release?

Thanks.

Ah, I wasn't expecting this comment, but it makes total sense...  Many companies take screenshots directly of their software, and we do too, but this particular shot is from an SLR camera with a wide aperture setting creating depth of field.  In other words, it blurs out anything that isn't within a small range of focus, and with my screen at an angle, that range includes just the middle of the shot.  The "glow" you see is just the blur from the lens diffusing the lines.  So the GUI never changed, I was just trying to be a bit artsy here...

That said, an optional glow setting can be added in the future.  Rob and I spoke about that effect early in our development process and it is possible.  We just have to balance it with the other features that we've promised.  In particular, I'm thinking about the full editor version of the synth...  But if enough people are interested, we can prioritize glow in the GUI.  Thanks for bringing this up!

All the best,

Well, I really think the glow is aesthetically pleasing. Also thats what hooked me in to purchasing the synth. Not just the Glow but the overall design. Because as producers and sound designers visuals are important for inspiration. Of course the sound is what matters at the end of the day, But that glow was something that stuck out to me.
Thanks for your quick and thorough response.
I'm with you on this.  I've added it as a feature request to our internal development tracking system.  We may not get to it for a while, but it's recorded. - T
Are new or user defined colour skins possible?
