To begin with a side note, I should mention there is a 30-day demo available for Waverazor, so you can check out everything it currently has to offer before buying. Much of the sonic fun in this synth comes from manipulating the wave segments and tweaking the controls in real time.
But to your specific question, we're pretty short on audio demos at the moment. There are a couple of demo songs on YouTube that you may have missed:
"Waverazor Intro Movie"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqekXIBO1g8
and "Waverazor Intro Movie Remix"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DB3WTUdVIY4
The Intro Movie Remix is actually more of a video remix with a new audio track. In both cases, all sounds, including the drums, are created with Waverazor, however outboard effects were used.
I'd like to put together a video that's more of a patch bank walkthrough, but I haven't had a chance to do that yet. Hopefully, I'll be able to get one together pretty soon.
In the bigger picture, the other thing that really needs to happen is for us to get more presets in general. There are only 21 factory patches and 250 template patches as of this writing. What's slowing us down is the lack of a true sound editor, so we're working on making one available.
When the "full editor" version of Waverazor is ready, I'll be able to hire additional sound designers for the factory bank, and users will be able to tweak to their heart's content. At that point, Waverazor's introductory sale price of $75 USD will end and the normal price of $150 USD will kick in, but anyone who bought the synth prior to that will get the update for free.
In the meantime, I'll add more presets as fast as I possibly can with the tools available... We're not really aiming to be a preset machine, but we do need more patches than we have right now. Sorry for the long winded answer, but I'm thankful for your question and the opportunity to talk about the state of Waverazor's sound design.
All the best,
Taiho
