Waverazor v1.0.4 has been released

+3 votes

Waverazor v1.0.4 is now available at the Tracktion website!

The big news is Linux support... whew, finally!  We are so happy to finally be supporting this community.  Can’t wait to hear what you guys slice up.

Audio Input is also now supported, allowing external audio to be selected for any Wave Segment in the oscillator.  In order to enable this feature, all formats (AU, VST, VST3, and AAX) of Waverazor have Audio Input bussing supported.  Some DAWs won't feed audio to a Synth plugin, so we also created a second plugin for all formats, called WaverazorFX.  This allows Waverazor to be loaded into effects slots.

We've been working hard on the patch Editor, getting ready to show at Winter NAMM, and making nice progress in all areas of the Waverazor code. Version 1.0.4 is not the editor release, but this will likely be the last update before the Editor version when Waverazor’s introductory sale pricing ends.  At that time, the price will increase from $75 to $150 USD, but anyone who has already purchased Waverazor will get the Editor update for free.

New Features in v1.0.4:

• Linux VST is now supported

• Audio Input is now available in the Wave selections for each segment

• A new WaverazorFX plugin is now included for all formats.  This is an Effect category plugin, so it can be loaded in effects slots, which is a workaround for DAWs that don’t allow synth plugins to be loaded in effect slots

• Audio Input Level, Audio Output Level, and Arpeggiator On/Off are now enabled for automation

• Language translation updates for Japanese, courtesy of Yasuo Matsunaka

• Hieroglyphic font support has been added

• Beta language additions for Thai and Tamil

• All Themes have been refined for better and sharper colors, and several new themes have been added

• Quick Start Guides (English and Japanese) have been updated for the latest supported plugin formats and installation notes for Linux.

For all the latest Waverazor news (and sneak previews) be sure to follow MOK on Facebook and Twitter.  Als, keep an eye out for our NAMM announcements in the next few weeks.  MOK will be showing at the Tracktion booth #14019 in the brand new pro audio hall.

We hope you enjoy the latest version of Waverazor, our flagship synthesizer!

Thanks ! The audio in is working great. Im using a side chain input through the instrument on a midi track, I haven't tried the FX version yet.

Great to hear!   As for the FX version, it is really only needed in DAWs that don't allow you to put the synth (virtual instrument) plugin into effects slots or send audio into them, so that is the only difference.  WaverazorFX just tells the DAW it is an effect, and for some DAWs that is needed so it will be loaded and audio routed into it.
