Our version 1.0.4 update for the Waverazor Dual Oscillator module is now available for registered users. If you’re logged in with your MOK account, you can find the download link under My MOK Account - Account Info. This update includes some significant improvements to the feel of the unit.
- Optimization of the razor slicing algorithm - It should sound smoother, and we’ve addressed some rare conditions where it could drive pitch out of tune.
- Optimization of Swarm patches - Under some circumstances, Swarm patches could tax the CPU enough that the user interface would slow down and briefly lock up before returning to normal. This has been addressed.
- Knob Smoothing - Controls like Coarse tuning used to suffer from extreme stepping when moved quickly. This should be greatly improved. (Controls that are naturally quantized, like the Octave setting do not get un-quantized.)
- Trigger Output Glitch Fixed - The trigger output would sometimes glitch, causing a hiccup in external oscillators synchronized to the razor. Now hard sync'd external oscillators should sound smooth.
- Bipolar Input Metering - The input meters used to have a unipolar level indicator for a bipolar signal. The new bipolar meters show negative voltages below the center line.
