Does Waverazor VST have audio in?

Does Waverazor VST have audio in like the eurorack module? I was looking to buy the VST, but I can't find the manual made available anywhere publicly.

Thanks for asking about Waverazor's Audio Input!  The plug-in version does have this feature, just like the module.  However, rather than patch cables, the audio routing depends on your DAW.  Some hosts require you to use the Waverazor FX version, included in the installer.  Others need you to sidechain.  Here's a short video I did demonstrating the Audio Input:

And here's the user manual, available through Tracktion, our software distributor:

Hope this helps!  Let us know if you need further information.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply!
Hi, I had a look to the video, looks interesting. But can you please show a bit more in detail how to configurate waverazor to get that result.
I get the input signal and a signal at the out, but not affected by waverazor in any way.

It seems like you're very close!  If you are seeing input from your DAW and getting output from Waverazor, I think all you need to do is to get the input signal into the synthesizer voice path.  For example, find the INIT preset in the TEMPLATE bank and turn off oscillators 2 and 3.  In oscillator 1, change the wave form in segments 1 and 2 to "AudIn L+R".  That will make one half of the wave cycle into audio from the input, and the other half remains half a sine wave.  From that point, hit play on the DAW, and if you play notes on Waverazor, you should hear the audio getting chopped up and integrated with the synth wave.  When the razor frequency is at audio rate, it sounds a lot like Ring Mod, but with the razor at BPM rates it produces a gating effect.  Hope that helps!

Hi Taiho,
thank you, that's it.
I already had the impression not to to see the correct way how to route the sudio in signal.
...
By the way. If you want some people beyond the sixties to have a look at your website, please avoid dark grey or blue font on a black background. For example the menue bar isn't to read for guys like me ;-) .

Excellent!  I'm glad that worked.

And yes, I've often thought that we need to support a different color font on our website.  It's even hard for me to read unless I turn my monitor brightness up.  I'll talk with Chris and see what's possible.

Thanks for your feedback, Horst!

All the best,
Taiho
