Reducing the number of pages ?

+1 vote
Hello and thanks for your oscillator adding new soundscapes to the eurorack world !

But a hindrance for efficient tweaking is the number of pages with only 4 parameters editable or viewable at a time ( with such a big screen ! )

You could at least reduce the number of pages by 2 and ideally by 4 with a movable square that would select the parameters for editing.

Hi Benoist,

That is a really intriguing idea!  I'll ask Rob if it's possible to do with how he's set up his code.  As soon as I hear anything, I'll let you know.

Cheers,

Hi Taiho,

Fine, we'll see ! the less the paging the better smiley

While I'am at it, an option to display both oscillators waveforms with different colors, the one being not edited being dimmer if possible ...

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestions, Benoist!     I have been thinking of something like this myself...  I like both, having nice big pages with visual information, like things are now, but also condensed views where I can see everything, so yes, I agree with both of us ;)

Have you seen the EDIT -> CV page, where you can see ALL of the CV input activity all at once?   A page like that might work, where all 20 controls are visible all at once, with 4 selectable (columns or something, dunno yet) for editing with the knobs.

I have no idea how soon I can work on something like this (working on a lot of other things at the moment), but I am glad you mentioned it, as I have also been thinking about this.

Cheers!  - Rob

Hello Rob !

Yes,  like the CV monitor page and with a 2 x 2 square or highlighted pads block that you move around with the finger to select the 4 parameters for editing ...

Thanks for considering smiley
