Editor audio settings

Currently, the Editor only works when it gets exclusive access to my audio interface. With this setting 'off', picking the right audio interface turns back to 'none'. With exclusive access, the sound is jagged (not sliced, the loop doesn't sound well). I used a virtual audio interface to fix this (VoiceMeeter) and it worked (not jagged) but if you're not PC savvy it's hard to figure all this out and it should not be necessary in 2021.

That's a great work around, thanks for sharing!  At this point we're not sure what's going on there.  I'll have to discuss this further with Rob and see if we can find a solution for the Exclusive Access issue.  Thanks again for using our module and hopefully we'll have an answer soon.

All the best,

Taiho

Hi Taiho,
Thank you for responding so fast, much appreciated. Just wanted to add that I used VoiceMeeter as a virtual ASIO audio interface to make it work, which also enabled me to record audio while doing a screen recording for my demo video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAZgFI_ItO4
More important, I got questions from my subscribers worrying about the WaveRazor being discontinued. I seriously hope it is not!

Hi Robert,

We're super busy making some fun new synth stuff at the moment, so I hadn't had a chance to watch your video until now.  Wow, great job!  Thanks so much for putting that together.  Do you mind if I share it on social media from our MOK accounts?

About the module, it's been quite successful for us and has almost sold through our first and second production runs.  There is still a small amount of modules left in the US and EU, but some searching is required.  1010 still has some stock online, or check with your favorite retailer for availability.

Regarding the future, we can't really talk about it, but not just because we have to keep product announcements under wraps until it's time (as is normal).  We can't talk about it because there's a lot of uncertainty in manufacturing due to the worldwide chip shortage.  That is making product planning exceedingly difficult right now, although not impossible.  Still, it is affecting our choices and this will likely continue into 2022.

MOK and 1010music thank you for your support and patience through all this!  We're doing our best to bring you and your subscribers cool stuff.

Warmest regards,
Taiho
