Couple of slight errors in the user manual

+1 vote

Hi there

I'm going through the manual (version 2.5.2) and noticed a couple of things that I think are probably mistakes, just to let you know.

1) On page 46, under Step Generator Additional Modulation Outputs, the description for "cur step" has been left blank. I assume this outputs the step number that the step generator is currently at.

2) On page 55, the description for "Lag Down" is identical to the description for "Lag Up". I assume Lag Down's description is meant to say "Creates a lag time (glide) only when modulation values go from high to low".

Kindest regards,

Brendan

Brendan, you're amazing, thank you!  Few people ever read manuals, so I'm doubly thankful for both the proofreading and the fact that you're taking the time to really get to know Waverazor.

About "cur step", yes, you're right.  I'm adding this to the manual:

Cur Step - This output maps steps 1 through 8 across the full range of modulation, and the modulation amount is equivalent to the current step being played.

And regarding Lag Down, yes, you're right on that one as well.  You caught me in a copy paste error, and I've now fixed it just as you've written.

It may take a bit of time for the revised manual to propagate.  We can update the website fairly soon, but the one imbedded in the plugin will have to wait for the next build.  They will get done though.  Thanks again, I really appreciate your help!

All the best,

Taiho

No worries! It quickly became clear to me that I was going to need to hit the manual to get the most out of this beast.

Another very minor typo I just noticed on page 98, under Env Follow's Parameters, the description of "in level" says it's the input level for the DC Blocker instead of the Env Follow. I'm just nitpicking now but might as well point it out while I'm at it!
Oh man, you're good.  :)

Yeah, that's another copy-paste error.  Fixed now.

And don't worry, I don't think it's nitpicking.  You are genuinely helping and I honestly appreciate it!

If you want, shoot me an email at the MOK info address and we'll connect.

Cheers,
Taiho
